After graduating from high school and doing his community service, he lived for a year in Australia on a sheep farm. Afterwards he studied communication design in Hamburg. In the meantime he has a great wife, three nice kids and lots of animals. He lives and works as an illustrator and sculptor on the Elbinsel Krautsand.
